The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation (NSF) is a non-profit organization supporting those diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, their families, and the ongoing search for a cure. NSF strives to meet each family and child in this tough journey, lifting each one up by providing direct financial and emotional support, education and community, helping families weather tough times to adjustment, acceptance and ultimately health.

NSF has 8 individual programs to support families. From Backpacks of Hope, to Camp, financial support grants, education & wellness seminars and more, each program is specifically designed to meet the unique and critical needs of families.

• CAMP NSF - NSF provides a traditional camp experience andạike-me' environment to over 25 families each year, 100% free of charge.

• LITTLE ANGELS - A care package program providing ongoing support for patients and families as they travel the journey of a Nephrotic

  Syndrome diagnosis.

• BACKPACKS OF HOPE - A backpack of comfort items, medical supplies and information provided to newly diagnosed patients, providing support, connection and HOPE.

• DIRECT PATIENT GRANTS - Support for costs faced by families as a result of diagnosis, i.e., medical expenses not covered by insurance, chronic illness counseling, a special opportunity, wish experience, etc.

• PEER TEAM - A patient led program, giving children, older teens and young adults a place to connect, share and discuss challenges and even give back to younger patients.

• THERMOMETER PROGRAM - A hospital grade thermometer, valued at $300+, provided to families, a life-changing tool when caring for an immunosuppressed child.

• FINDING HEALTH SERIES - Speaker series and content-based programming to support and educate families on topics relevant to dealing with NS.

• RESEARCH AND COLLABORATION - NSF works alongside top providers and institutions to improve care, recruit for and promote clinical trials, advance research and educate our patient community

• PODCAST - Interviews with inspirational people in this journey, we connect warriors, caregivers, providers and more, spread awareness about NS, and provide real life tools.
